Some pretty flowers we saw somewhere on our day trip to Mexico

We took the bus from Tijuana to Rosarito. It's about a 45 minute ride south but a much nicer area and has a pretty beach.

Here I am on the beach. Even here there are people trying to sell you fruits, hats, whatever they can think of.

In the other direction you have lots of clubs and touristy type of places. Kinda reminded me of Daytona Beach but much smaller.

The beach was ok, but we were more interested in the town and shopping. So we walked around and Charlotte found a friend.

We ate somewhere around here. I got a some kind of fish taco plate and a beer to wash it down with. I think its safer to drink beer than water down here.

This guy had an interesting getup. I can't remember if we bought anything from him but I had to take this picture.

Charlotte really enjoyed the shopping and bartering with vendors. Some stuff is really cheap.

Mom exits the shopping bazaar which is easy to get lost in. I think they design it like that so you keep on shopping as you try to find your way out of the maze.

Lots of little stands like this around here.

The sights between Tijuana and Rosarito give you and idea of how people really live here. It doesn't look pleasant.

Even with Charlotte and my mom the sidewalk bouncers at the topless bars were trying to drag me into thier clubs. They were very agressive just like most people down here, just trying to make a buck of the tourists.

This was hilarious. They painted this poor donkey to look like a zebra. Then they charge for kids to sit on it and take a picture. I snapped this while they were distracted by some commotion across the street.

These drug stores were everywhere. I've heard you can buy pretty much anything you want, and apparently a lot of people do. Then they try to sneak it back to the states.

Sunset on Tijuana. I was glad we were already across the border when we took this picture. This is not a good place to be after dark.
